What Is Guided Practice?
Guided Practice is a chance to get an instructor's assistance instead of working 100% independently. Each session centers around a general technique or topic and the instructor can choose to explore that topic in various ways. You can bring your work in progress or something you've already done to guided practice and ask the instructor topic-specific questions about it; you can follow along with whatever topic-specific info your instructor shares with the group, getting assistance as you go; or you can just come listen and watch if you're looking for inspiration. Even experienced ceramicists can benefit from a technique tune up or a new POV on the clay.
Who is it for?
Guided Practice is for current or past/returning Mud Lily makers.
Where and when is Guided Practice?
Guided Practice is currently held in the Mud Lily classroom on Monday nights. Doors open at 6pm, your instructor is available beginning at 6:30, and the studio closes at 9pm.
How do I participate?
Guided Practice is booked separately from independent studio time and we request that you sign up in advance to participate. You can use 5-pack sessions toward guided practice or purchase individual guided practice sessions. 8x independent studio membership hours are for independent studio time.
